Moses Lake, WA – February 26, 2025: During the Port Commission Meeting held on Monday, February 24, 2025, the Port of Moses Lake Commission unanimously adopted a revised Five-Year Strategic Plan. This plan serves as a comprehensive roadmap and highlights key internal and external initiatives aimed at improving the Port’s performance while continuing to lead sustainable growth and innovation in the Port district.
Among thirteen goals, the plan outlines infrastructure investments, expanding available industrial land capacity, enhancing air and road transportation systems, and workforce development initiatives. Additionally, an outreach initiative will ensure ongoing alignment with the Port district community's aspirations and needs.
This strategic plan also underscores the importance of collaboration and actively involving district stakeholders, businesses, and educational institutions to cultivate a vibrant ecosystem. The Port remains committed to balancing economic growth with responsible fiscal stewardship, ensuring that future developments provide benefits to all residents within the Port district.
