Port of Moses Lake attends Farnborough International Airshow in U.K.

Port of Moses Lake leaders including Commissioner Darrin Jackson attended the Farnborough International Airshow in the U.K. last week along with a Washington State delegation led by Lt. Governor Denny Heck. U.S. Congressman Rick Larson and State Senator Andy Bilig were also in attendance. The Farnborough International Airshow is the premiere event hosting legacy and innovative aerospace with more than 1500 exhibitors in attendance. 

"The Port plays a key role in Washington State aerospace industries and we are serious about creating local jobs by recruiting the best companies in the world to Moses Lake," Jackson said, adding, “It was a great honor to be representing our region’s interests and value at this event.” 

Jackson met with aviation companies including regional carriers, and those companies interested in flight testing and electric airplanes.
