Moses Lake, WA - December 22, 2025: The Port of Moses Lake announces that it is actively evaluating supplemental energy strategies that deliver diversified solutions for customers, communities, and stakeholders. The Port is also conducting a thorough assessment of scalable energy sources designed to bolster economic growth, environmental responsibility, and regional resilience.

The Port’s initiatives are rooted in the priorities of increased energy capacity and national security, aligning with broader goals that safeguard the nation’s future and reinforce America’s energy framework. The Port plans to implement these advancements between 2029 and 2030.

In partnership with industry, community leadership, and government agencies, the Port’s objectives are to provide additional energy options that serve the Port of Moses Lake Tax Increment Area and its beneficiaries. Strategic partners including Western Pacific Engineering, TC Resource Management Corp., Rivers Edge Group, Admiral Strategies, Sundial Advocacy, Roman Daniels-Brown, and ATP TES Energy LLC , bring extensive expertise in energy generation, electrical infrastructure, utility construction, state and federal policy, and regulatory compliance.

Port of Moses Lake Executive Director, Dan Roach, said, “We recognize that supplemental energy capacity is not just a goal; it's a necessity for economic growth and resilience in our district. By investing in energy solutions, we're complementing our existing energy portfolio, reducing reliance on external sources while empowering local industries, and paving a path for the next generation of innovation and job opportunities. These efforts ensure that our region remains at the forefront of technological advancements, on the ground and in the air, while maintaining the delicate balance between progress and responsibility.”

Port Commission President Darrin Jackson stated, “The Port is uniquely positioned to facilitate partnerships between industry and government to enhance energy generation within the Port district. By exploring a variety of energy generation options, we can address current needs while anticipating future demands. It is through these strategic collaborations that we can efficiently leverage resources and innovate in ways that were previously unimaginable.”
