To make your next trip an easy and enjoyable experience, please consider the following:
- Check the TSA website for current rules and prohibited items.
- If you plan to carry on a bag, make sure that your bag meets your carrier's size requirements.
- Make sure that you allow yourself plenty of time to get through security and to your gate before your flight boards.
- Contact your Air Carrier directly for any special needs.
At the Airport:
- Do not leave your bags unattended in any location at the airport. Watch your bags and personal items at all times.
- Do not accept packages from strangers.
- If you see unattended bags or packages anywhere in the airport terminal or parking area, immediately report them to a security officer or other authority.
- Report any suspicious activities or individuals in the airport or in the parking lot to airport security.
- Don't joke about having a bomb or firearm. Don't discuss terrorism, weapons, explosives, or other threats while going through the security checkpoint. All comments are considered as real threats and will be subject to investigation.
- Be cooperative if screeners ask to hand search your bags. Security will search a bag if the x-ray scan cannot determine its contents.
- Do not leave your vehicle unattended in front of the main terminal; it will be towed at the owner's expense.
