This is an economic
development project to extend and enhance railroad access for industries
in the northern Columbia Basin area near Moses Lake.
A task force was formed in
2002, and an initial feasibility/cost study was done in 2003.
The Port of Moses Lake and
the Washington State Department of Transporation Rail Office are
continuing to study and seek funding for the project.
